Eng Sary and His wife were arrested

Phnom Penh: Eng Sary, a former leader of Pol Pot regime, and his wife, Eng Thearith were arrested and sent to the Khmer Rouge Court in the morning at his house near Svay PorPear located in Chamka Morn district, on 12 November 2007.  It is quite difficult to charge Eng Sary related to his actions during Pol Pot regime, said Mr Chhang Yu, a director of Cambodia Document Center. He added that Eng Thearith was a lady that had a strong commiment to her husband duty and a firm support for Cambodia Communist Party.
