1000 Workers Have struck for 3 Days

Phnom Penh: Sinomak garment workers around 1000 have struck since 18 April 2008 in Sa Ang district’s Svay Rolom commune. The workers demanded 10 requests, but the garment factory’s boss ignored them. A representative of the workers said that they stuck for demanding the proper solutions from the factory. If the garment chief did not meet their suggestions, they would keep on their strike, stop working. The garment representative could not reach for comment on the case.
