14 Die, nearly 100 Injure during Khmer New Year

April 17, 08: According to temporary report from authority and ground traffic officers, there are 14 people died and nearly 100 injured in traffic accidents during three days of Khmer New Year 2008 from April 13-15. Deputy police chief on ground traffic order in Kandal province Mr. Meas Sareit claimed that in his province there were 35 cases of traffic accident in which 10 people died, 20 seriously injured and other 20 minor wounded. He added that major causes of accident are drunkenness and driving in row from two vehicles more.
