Phnom Penh: According to the answer from Ducth, S-21 commander, many different kinds of punishment were practiced in S-21 during Khmer Rouge Regime. Anyone found guilty was tortured in S-21 by using wire to hit, burning by cigarette, forcing to eat shit, pushing the nail and pour the alcohol, and so on. Most of them died during torturing, whereas the female victims were forced to take off their clothes or raped, and sometimes their breeds were cut. During the questioning, each had to describe detail about their backgrounds and listed out the names that the guilty knew and most of them later would bring to question.
