225 Khmer People Go to Work in Thailand Officially

Poipet Town: About 225 garment workers on Friday left Cambodia for Thailand to work officially during the two nations are having the long border dispute since Thai soldiers invaded Cambodia territory on July last year. The Human Resource Development (HRD), a company takes Khmer people to work abroad and started its work in 1999, has brought the Cambodian people to work abroad for five times. During the first three moths of the working in Thailand in a factory known as Safe Skin, the 225 garment workers are paid 160 baths per day and after the three moths if they are acceptable, their salary will be increased up to 165 baths per day.
