27 000 US Dollars Loses in Robbery

Phnom Penh: A 68-year-old woman was robbed of her $ 27000 while buying medicine at 11:30 am on 12 June 2008 in Doun Penh district’s Sroh Chork commune. The robbery happened after she had taken her money from a bank in Phom Penh City. The victim known as Toek Chennguch lives in Sihanoukville’s Mitha Pheap district. There were four unknown robbers, two followed her into the medicine shop and the others were at their waiting motorbikes. They made away after robbery, police said.
