3 vietnamese died; fishery department burnt

Kompong Luong-Pursat: 3 vietnamese fihsermen were shot dead in a clash with fishery inspector against illegal fishing. To revenge what the fishery inspector have done, the vietnamese fishermen with knives and swords broke into Kompong Luong fishery department and burnt it. The incident occured in the morning of 23th April. One floating house near the fishery department was burnt as well.
Meas Bunthoeun, chief of Kompong Luong police station said that many documentst were lost when the fishery department was burnt. He added that the situation became normal in the evening of 23th April.
