32% of tourists increase in Rattanak Kiri

Rattana Kiri Province: Until December, 2007 the number of tourists who visit Rattanak Kiri province is increased about 32%, and 15% raise of accommodations. According to Tourism department director in the province, so far a number of tourists who are interested in visiting his province have around 93,812 visitors; among them 19,480 are foreign tourists. He added that this improvement is due to the natural favor in Rattanak Kiri. Even though the number of accommodation is increased, it is still not available for the tourists. Today, there are 9 hotels, 9 guest houses and 7 restaurants in Rattanak Kiri providing the service for visitors. He confirmed that recently, many local visitors are interested much in traveling programs prepared by Tour Companies in Cambodia.
