36% of children under 5 years old stunted

Phnom Penh: Children under 5 years old have stunted rate about 36% among 36-40 thousands new born children a year even Cambodia has better living standard. Stunted rate shows that children lack of nutrition which lower mentally and physically but it is not an inheriting disease. Stunted children are difficult to learn so they always skip school. However stunted rate has lower tendency if compare to 2000 science.
