70 houses Eaten by fire at Poi Pat. The incident is along railway the southern of national road 5- Paloelay village, Poi Pat commune, Ou Chrouv district, Banteay Meanchey province. Ou Chrouv’s district police chief Oeng songyou said that the fire happened at 1:30 pm on 22-March-2007.
Three fire engines of casinos intervened by spending 30 minutes on getting rid of fire. He added that it was very difficult to intervene because the road is so small so that we could not spray the water immediately. He also added that the three fire engines that helped weed the fire out are 2 belong to Tropoekkana casino and one belong to Kroitdayminciti casino.
The cause of the incident is not clear. Informal news said that the incident caused by the gas cooker explosion, but we did not know from which point it started.
