71-Year-Old Chopped the Neck to death

Svay Rieng Pronvince: A woman and her daughter were detained and sent to the court by Kien Svay Provincial Penalty Police after the daughter had chopped a 71-year-old woman’s neck to death to rob her of gold (two Gy) in Thlar village, Kouk Pring commune, Svay Rieng province’s Svay Chrum district at 1:45pm on August 3, 2007. The victim known as Kong Yean, 71, lived in Svay Chrum district’s Kouk Pring commune. The perpetrator named Khiev Thavy, 23, and her mother Meas Yoen is the accomplice, who hided the robbed property, police said. The criminals were sent to the court on August 4, 2007 to sentence, police added.
