900,000 Riel was taken by Police

Pour Sat: In the evening, on 18 November, a man was hit by a motor and died after taken to the hospital. According to the residents in Kan Deang village, the victim walked in the opposite direction with a motor driver and his sister, 17 , who sat on the Fish basket. Suddenly, the driver crashed Seang Sie, the victim, whereas the drivers’ sister was also dangerously injured. The dead family demanded 4million riel in negotiation for its compensation; but at last the two families reached the final agreement, 3 million for the compensation. However, only 2 million and 100,000 riels were given to the victim’s family, whereas 900,000 riel was taken by the police.
