A Boy Attempts to Rape a Minor Girl

Kampongthom Province: Thorng, 16, was detained Saturday for attempting to rape a 9-year-old girl on Friday in Stoung district’s Msa Krorng commune, Stoung penalty police official said. The boy lured the girl to his house and defrocked her clothes to rape. Fortunately, her older sister came on time and filed the complaint with police. The victim’s mother said that Thorng raped her daughter once in 2007. The boy was sent to court on 25 May.
