A Construction Worker Arrested for Raping his Niece

Steung Treng Province: Anti-human trafficking Police said that they arrested a man at the scene, who was accused of raping his 12-year-old niece Mekong river at around 3 p.m. on 14th March in Steung treng district’s Srah Russey commune. According to police, a fisherman called his local police after he saw the suspect raping the under aged victim. The rapist known as Thy Phal, 29, came from Kratie province to visit the girl’s family. At police station, the accused confessed that he raped his niece while swimming in Mekiong river together after he and her mother had drunk a liter of wine. The man was sent to provincial court to sentence.
