A Grocer Family Robbed

Battambang Province: Unknown men with two AK broken into a house and robbed a grocer family in Ba Norn district’s Ta Kream commune at 11 p.m. on 4 July 2008, making a way with seven Gy of gold, 10000 Bath, and $ 500. The victim known as Svay Thean, 57, said that the robbery happened when all men of the family member were helping their neighbor celebrate a funeral; she was home with her 26-year-old daughter. After breaking in, they pointed the AK at them, and searched for gold and money, she added. Local police arrested a suspect and search for the others, Sat Siet deputy police chief of Ba Nrn district said.
