A Man Beaten Nearly Dead When Visits Hometown

Kampong Cham Province: A man named Sorn Sopak, 25, was beaten with wooden sticks till unconscious by at least 3 gangsters. He lives in Trapang Ampil village, Mong Rear commune, Tbong Kmom district. The victim was sent to provincial hospital and after to Phnom Penh hospital by his mother. The event happened at 1:00 a.m. on 8-April-07 in Chern Karl village.
The victim’s mother said that her son rode motorbike out with friends at night on 8-April-07. He went out for a bit long so he told her husband Kart to find their son. When her husband went to find the son, he found him unconscious in Cherng Karl village.
