A man caught in unsuccessful rape

Pursat: A man was caught and sent to Pursat court in the afternoon of 17 May 2007 for attempting to rape.
The rape attempt happened at 3:30 in the afternoon of 16 May 2007 in Somrong village, Kbal Trach commune, Krokor district, Pursat. The rapist was Mok Moy,25. Police said that when retunring from drinking, Mok Moy saw the girl and attempted to rape but she was saved by her sister. The parent's of the girl ask 1 million riels for compensation but because the rapist does not have enough money he was sent to the court.
