A Man Sentenced 20 Years in jail

Kampot Province: On 17 December 2007, a 45-year-old man was sentenced 20 years in prison for attempting to rape his eight-year-old step daughter on 28 April 2007 and inserting egg into his step wife’s vagina on 23 July 2007. The man known as Brak Kem lives in Pong Toek commune, Dom Nak Chang Oeu district. His lawyer said that it was injustice for his client, sentenced 20 years in jail such cases. Nonetheless, his wife suggested the judge to hold him many years in prison because he always badgered her.
