A Man with his Girlfriend Shot to death in Robbery

Phnom Penh: Two robbers with two guns shot a 22-year-old man in an unsuccessful robbery, dying immediately at the scene near Wat Phnom, Doun Penh district’s Wat Phnom commune, at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday when he was taking his motorbike with his 18-year-girl friend. The deceased was identified as Moen Suphas lived in Prampey Makara district’s Veal Vong commune, police said. Moen Suphas’s girl friend said that the two gunmen with body guard uniform pointed guns at them. Meanwhile, she snatched her boyfriend’s motor key and ran; then the robber shot her boyfriend, police added.
