A Monk defrocked for debauchery

Phnom Penh: A 52-year-old monk was defrocked after he had committed a debauchery with a woman in a rental house in Prek Takong village, Chak Angre Leu commune, Meanchey district. After getting information around 9:30 p.m, the local authorities and police raided the rental house, where the monk was having sex with the woman, known as Nat Thun, 36. Police said that the monk Yoem Piseth, who entered monkshood last year, was defrocked at the commune to educate and release.
