A Monk Rapes and Kills a Girl in Pagoda

Kampongthom Province: A monk raped and killed a 10-year-old girl on Wednesday morning around 10 a.m. in Tuol pagoda, Thnorl Cheat village, Baray district’s Baray commune. The dead victim known as Chuon Sreyoun living in Chhouk Ksach commune’s Saangke village and the rapist monk Oun Thykheang, 27, just entered the monk hood a year ago. The girl went to the pagoda with her grand mother. Meanwhile, the criminal monk asked her to buy a headache medicine for him. As soon as she returned, he gave some candies in order to lure her into a banana field in the campus of pagoda, raping and murdering her by strangling her neck and attacked her vagina with his knees, the monk confessed after the arresting at the same day.
