A Motor Taxi Driver Killed in Motorbike Robbery

Phnom Penh: A 39-year-old man died at a private clinic on the national route number four after had been shot in a 2008 HONDA motorbike robbery at 6:30 p.m. on Dec 2 in Chompouvon village, Dangkor district’s Chomchao commuen. The dead victim known as Soeurng Bunthoeurn was shot two times in his throat after he stopped to buy food in front of Chompouvon market, local police said. According to eyewitness, the robbery caused by two robbers with a gun, who escaped safely. Recently robberies happened many times in Phnom Penh City.
