A Person Dies Because Of Tuberculosis Every 50 Minutes In Cambodia

Phnom Penh: At least a person dies because of tuberculosis disease every 50 minutes in Cambodia. Cambodia is one of the country that has tuberculosis more than others among 22 countries in the world. Dr. Mouv Tann Eang, a chief of Protection Tuberculosis Nation Center and Hang Sen said.
In Cambodia, there are 70.000 people who are containing tuberculosis and 10.000 were died by this disease every year. In the world maybe there 8.8 million have tuberculosis and 1.7 million were died every year.
The tuberculosis disease increases 1 percent every year in Africa and decreases in western of Asia Pacific.
For Cambodia, Takeo, Prey Veng, Svy Rieng, Kam Pongspeu provinces and so on have tuberculosis people more than others.
