A port staff charged with illegal diesel trade

Sihanoukville: A staff of Sihanouk ville port was halted on 8 September 2007 while he was driving a car carrying 23 containers of illegal diesel. The port staff Vong Vuthy, 45 driving a car bearing 2A. 1032 number plate, police said. Vong Vuthy said that the diesel was bought from the truck parked in front of the port. He had bought the illegal diesel for many years, Vuthy said. The 23 containers of diesel and the car were kept at the mobile custom office.
