A Prisoner Dies in Hospital

Kam Pot province: A 20-year-old prisoner died at Kam Pot provincial hospital on Tuesday three days after he was sent there. The deceased man lived in Chey Tasvey village, Ta Ke commune, Kam Pot province’s Chouk district. The motive of the death has been unclear. The man was sentenced 8 months in prison in connection to a rape case. Police accused him of attempting to rape woman. His corpse was not sent to his homeland, but was cremated in a local pagoda on Wednesday instead.
