A Rapist Commit Suicide from Court Room

Phnom Penh: A defendant, who was charged with luring a woman to rape, committed suicide by jumping from a two story building in Phnom Penh municipal court on Wednesday morning. The accused known as Sok Bunthearn, 22, lives in Phnom Penh’s Russey Keo district, police said. Sok Bunthearn was sent to Calemette hospital immediately. However his legs broke. Police said that the parents of the woman filed a complaint with police, accusing the man of raping their daughter on May 5.
