Phnom Penh: Cham Kamon district penalty police detained a woman on Friday for charging her for cheating of more than $ 20 000. The defendant named Ek Salin, 28, is a restaurant singer, police said. The detention followed three victims’ complaint among 100 people. She had told those victims that there was an American company invested in South Korea, for which chose Cambodian citizens to work there. Then she charged any one, who wanted to work in South Korea, from $ 100 to $ 300 per person until 100 people registered. When the date to leave for work came, she gave them fake visa. After knowing that, those victims caught and turned the cheater over to police.
