A Soldier Killed in Rice Argument with his Unit Leader

Kampongchnang Province: A soldier died on the way to Phnom Penh hospital after a gunfire happened at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday Samaki Meanchey district. The dead victim known as Khat Khorn, 29, guarded at a field, where he was shot with an AK gun in Mean Kor commune, and the perpetrator Lung Lim, 47, is the victim’s unit leader, penalty police Choem Bunthoeurn. According to the other soldiers at the scene, the fatal gunfire caused from drunkenness. The victim was attempted to take rice from the rice pot, but his group leader Lung Lim prevented him from doing that. Then Lung Lim shot him when he was taking rice. The killer made away after murdered his follower.
