A Student Robbed and Shot

Phnom Penh: A 21-year-old student was shot on his chest with a gun in a daylight motorbike robbery on 20 February 2008 in Eussey Keo district’s Toek Thlar commune. The victim Cheng Ra, who was severely injured, scuffled with the robbers although he was fired. His modern motorcycle was not lost because bystanders and police intervened. The robbers were not arrested: Police dared not shoot them because there were many people on the street.
