A Suspect of Murder Hirer Dies in Police Custody

Rattanakiri Province: A detainee, who was accused of connecting to a boy murdering, committed suicide by hanging himself in police custody on Thursday. The deceased known as Tiet Khlov, 60, had employed a man to kill a 5-year-old boy, whose grandmother had an oral argument with him in Sak Muth Leu villager, Seda commune, Lum Phat district, district police said. Before killing himself, Tiet Khlov confessed that he had hired Phan Lev, 29, to kill Lan Sen, whose grandma had argument with him. Phan Lev was arrested on February 4th and in police custody he also confessed to murder the boy after Tiet Khlov gave him 200 000 riel (50$). The boy was found dead on February 2 after being missing many hours, police said
