A teenager Drowns in a River

Preyveng Province: A 17-year-old boy drowned in a river at 3pm on 26 Jan 2008 in Chombok Brang village, Peam Ro district’s Peam Ro commune, Peam Ro district police said. The drowned victim Chum Rattana lived in Svay Chrum district’s Svay Yea commune. He came to Peam Ro district to visit his older brother. At the scene, he maybe slipped into the river. The people around there thought that he could swim, so they didn’t worry about him until he did not appear. Then they knew that he drowned in the river, police added.
