A Vietnamese Man Slits his Wife’s Throat in Domestic Violence

Prey Veng Province: A domestic violence caused a man to slit his wife’s neck with a cleaver at 8:30 p.m. on 22 July 2008 in Koh Roka village, Peam Chor district’s Koh Roka commune, Prey Veng province, Peam Choe district police said. The victim known as Ngor Thiheang, 30, and her husband Yung Hong, 32, is a Vietnamese. After drinking with other Vietnamese friends, the man returned home picking a quarrel with his wife, leading to cut her neck, blood poured on her body, but fortunately she did not die and was sent to treat in Vietnam at the same night. Local police took the man to court.
