A Woman Died Naked

Battambang Province: A woman’s corpse was found dead in her house after her two kids informed their neighbors at 6 a.m. on Friday in Som Rongknung village, Ek Phnom district’s Som Rongknung commune. The victim known as Lai Koem, 34, was tortured and killed else where and then the criminals dropped her in her home, local police said. Her 6-year-old daughter told police that on Thursday night, a man called her mother out with him. Her mother did not return home and she and her smaller brother fell asleep. Getting up the next day, she found a body in her home and then told the neighbors to check because it was beyond the recognition. The motive of the death is unclear, but the victim’s younger brother-in-law said that it could cause by tripartite love because she used to have a secret love relationship with a village chief of Borvel district. Police said that her husband was a soldier. He did not live with her; he held his mission.
