A Woman Raped and Killed

Poipet Town: A 54-year-old woman was raped and killed at her house on Saturday night in Pali Lai Preikub village, Poipoet commune. The dead victim Seoeun Ream’s head was broken. According to her neighbor, the deceased and her 6-year-old grand son, known as Much Bowm, visited a dance in Pali Lai Preikub before the murder, which was believed to happen between 11 to 12 p.m. when it rained very hard. No one knew that she died, until on Sunday morning her grand son, who slept with her, woke up. Poi Pet police Chief Sun Savuth concluded that the killer and the victim knew each other. They are working to arrest the perpetrator.
