A Woman Slit her Throat After Being Raped

Battambang Province: Chom Sarum, 20, was raped and slit her throat while she was cooking in her house, dying in the pool of blood at around 5: 30 a.m. on Dec 13 in Rotanakmondol district’s Sdau commune, Rotanakmondol district police said. Before the killing, the dead victim and her husband Suon Khemarin, 26, got up at 5 a.m. to rice field to harvest. Then her husband left their child at his mother’s house and went to cut rice tree first but she stayed home to prepare meals to the rice field. Police said that she found dead naked in her kitchen. The motive of the murder is not clear, police added.
