"Everything about them is perfect," Timothy Treadwell once said about the grizzly bears he lived with on the Alaskan Peninsula for 13 summers. Among their perfections, however, was their aptitude for killing, and Treadwell, a zealous grizzly bear advocate was eaten by one in October 2003. A bizarre portrait of one man's affection for, and bond with, his animal kingdom brethren, Treadwell's tragic and foolish life story is the focal point of Werner Herzog's stunning documentary “GRIZZLY MAN” (2005, 103mins). Also screening: “FEED THE BEARS” (2006, 6 mins) – a short documentary about sun bears and Asiatic black bears in Cambodia.
