An Adult Girl commits suicide

Kandal Province: A teenager girl jumped into the water in attempt to kill herself at Koh Brak Bridge in Koh Brak village, Kien Svay district’s Phoum Thom commune, Kandal province at 7:30 am on July 25, 2007.
The victim known as Mao Makara, 18, lives in Kin Svay district’s Kbal Koh commune. The victim’s father, Yin Sok Khum, 57 said that his daughter went away from home for 4 days. He knew that she went to Phnom Penh with her friend. He added that she took a bike and a phone with her when she left for Phnom Penh. Maybe she lost all those things; she dared not come back home, so she decided to do that.
