Anti-drug Officers: Nhek Bunchai not Related to Captured Drug

August 30, 2007: Rumor saying Nhek Bunchai was related to over five tones of addict drug captured in Treng Trayeng village, Phnom Sruoch district, Kampong Speu province was claimed by Lieutenant Meok Dara, the Head of anti-drug department of Interior Ministry, that Nhek Bun Chai was not relevant to the drug case. He added the government would not release anyone taking hand in this drug case. The destroy occasion of drug substance on 29-30 August in Treng Trayeng commune was attended by General Lieutenant Teng Savung, representative of US embassy and UNODC.
