Appealing Court Issues Judgment of Born Samnang, Sok Sam Eoun on 12-April

Phnom Penh: Appealing court heard the case of Born Samnang and Sok Sam Eoun on 6-April-07. The hearing started from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. that attended by judges of defendant and charger and was observed by civil organizations and other Embassy representatives in Cambodia.
The appealing court will issue the verdict on 12-April-07 at 7:30 a.m. Born Samnang and Sok Sam Eoun will have been in jail for 1,170 days till 12-April.
Born Samnang and Sok Sam Eoun were charged by Phnom Penh Municipal Court of intentional murder and unlawful use of arm but lawyer of the excused have filed complaint to the appealing court. Appealing court has heard their case for three times.
