Asian Dragon garment workers insist the owner to follow their requests

Phnom Penh: About 400 Asian Dragon garment workers ran riot in front of the factory in Russey village, Stung Meanchey commune, Meanchey district on 25th April 2007 to request for better working conditions.The worker representatives said that they proposed the request on 24th April 2007, but the factory representative said that it could not be solved without the presence of Ministry of Labour. On 25th April, with the presence of Ministry of Labour, the factory side did not agree to have a talk that lead to the riot.
Until the afternoon of 25th April, the problems not yet solved.
