June 9, 08: Big sacred trees in Phnom Kulen national park, Siem Reap province are being toppled down by pessimistic merchants cooperating with the park’s conservators. People living around the area claim that they saw illegal businessmen are cutting holly logs every day. Before they used to pick up wild fruits to sell for their living income, but now they cannot because nearly all fruitful trees have been toppled down.
