Born Samnang and Sok Sam Oeun Set Free from Prison

Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Supreme Court decided to release Born Samnang and Sok Sam Oeun temporarily on Wednesday. Born Samnang and Sok Sam Oeun were accused of the Jan 2004 killing outspoken Chea Vichea, who was the Free Trade Union Leader. The two were arrested one week after Chea Vichea’s assassination at a newsstand in Phnom Penh city. Born Samanng and Sok Sam Oeun’s family, organization and Embassy officers are happy with their releasing. So far they have been believed that they were flamed, and demanded to arrest the real assassinators.
