Buddhist Monks React against a Hotel in Battambang

Battambang Province: At least around 600 Buddhist monks from other provinces in Cambodia gathered to react against a hotel’s brand name bearing “Buddha Bar”. The monks accused the hotel owner of looking down on the Buddhism. According to a staff the hotel, the hotel owner is a French, and he is also a Buddhist. The worker added that the hotel owner had no reason to look down on Buddha. There are lot of pictures of Buddha showed in the hotel, so he used such the brand name. The local authorities are working to solve the problem.
