Buddhists against Supreme Patriarch’s Return

Kandal Provice: A bout 100 Buddhists of Khemakrak Bunnaram pagoda, which located in Bos Angkanh village, Prek Eng commune, Kien Svay district, gathered, in the morning of July, 9, 2007, to be against the return of the former of supreme patriarch who was dismissed from the pagoda last year.
Please remind that in July 2006, Tang Kungly, the supreme patriarch of Khemakrak Bunnaram pagoda, was fired from the pagoda by Kiensvay pagoda committee and Buddhists for playing cards, and drinking beer in the pagoda. Furthermore, he and other monks were related to illegal weapon hide and causing harm on a citizen on 14, July 2006 due to the victim won the gambling and then he stopped to play owing to night.
After the violence, Kien Svay police defrocked some of them and dismissed from the pagoda. Now Tang Kungly comes back, so the Buddhists of the pagoda are against the return.
