Cambodia creates a new law for nature protection areas

Phnom Penh: On 25 December, Cambodia assembly continues to debate and adopt an important draft concerning to nature protection areas. This draft has been sent to assembly since 2nd November for discussion and adoption. It contains 11 chapters including 66 articles. If this draft is adopted, it will serve as the main preservation for ensuring the proper usage of natural resources in those nature protection areas such as Veal Veng, Phnom Sam Ko, Or Ral mountain in Por Sat province, Kampot, Kor Kong, and Kampong Speu province.
