Cambodia Deploys More Troops along the Border

Preah Vihear Province: after the firing on Friday afternoon and the explosion of anti personnel mine at Phnom Trop on Monday morning that seriously injured two Thai troops Cambodia added more soldiers along the border to protect Khmer territory from Thai troop invading. Phnom Trop, about two kilometers from Preah Vihear temple, is the former stand off between government’s troops and Khmer Rouge’s. Therefore, there are thousands of landmines left there after more than 10 years of civil war.
