June 7, 08: International Monetary Fund released an announcement that economic activity is still potential though its economic growth was expected to drop from 10.25% in 2007 to 7% in 2008. The announcement was done after there was a mission of IMF’s staffs to Cambodia from March 28 to June 5. IMF claims that the fall of Cambodia’s economic growth cause of the plummet of garment product export. It is because of decrease of outside demand.
