Cambodian Government Sues Thai for Violation

Phnom Penh: After Monday’s meeting between the two countries in Thailand produced the stand off resolution of the border dispute, Cambodia sued Thai government for invading Khmer’s sovereignty. Thai side demanded rechecking the international Thai-Cambodian border, but it is absolutely impossible. The US ambassador to Cambodia does not want to see the armed confrontation of the both sides, urging that they solve the tension by peaceful mean. Although there is the military confrontation, gunfire has not occurred, so far.
