Conservative Area Belongs to Rich People

Nearly 1, 000 hectare of conservative area in Tbong Kmom district, Kampong Cham province belongs to rich people as National Assemble has just enacted law on natural area protection. Kampong Cham official said that in 2002 the government agreed with Environment ministry to put this area located in Tonle Bith and Chiror II communes as conservative land.
On December 25, 07, Mok Mareith, minister and Senior Minister of Environment Ministry, said that after this area was sold many times by the rich, now the ministry is starting to restore this conservative area. People in the area claimed that what the minister has said he seem not to have been visited the land. The area becomes to rich people belong.
