Construction Foreman Rapes 14-year-old Girl

Kandal Province: A 40-year-old man was accused of raping a 14-year-old girl at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday at her house in Kiens Svay district. The accused was identified as Pov Sarun is a foreman of a group of building construction workers. The parents of the victim girl allowed the Kamponthom province man to stay in their family temporarily because he had no residence. The girl’s father informed this case to his local police, who arrested the man at the same day. At police station, the accused confessed that he raped the girl. Police sent the rapist the provincial court to sentence.
